Must be experienced in aspects of civil engineering and land surveying. Have strong educational credentials and extensive experience in GIS; water and wastewater engineering; hydrology; land use planning; planning and zoning; site planning; conservation; highway and utility corridor surveys; and impact analysis and mitigation. Experienced in boundary location; rectification of boundary disputes; construction stakeout; hydrographic and marine facility surveying; aerial surveying; and topographical surveying. Able to establish controls utilizing the most technologically advanced Satellite Global Positioning Systems.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university; Have a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in performing all aspects of survey - engineering - GIS services; Must have Errors and Omissions Insurance (E&O); A satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid driver’s license; Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks; Oral and written communication skills; Self-starting individual who follows directions and procedures, adheres to a work schedule and can focus on details; Interpersonal (people) skills; Be flexible and able to work effectively in a team environment and consistently maintain a professional and respectful demeanor/ attitude with co-workers, clients, vendors, and outside contacts and agencies; Posses analytical and reconciliation skills, necessary for problem solving and decision making; Able to successfully perform multiple tasks and abbreviated deadlines; Must be able to understand financial impacts of decisions and courses of action; Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office; Military Service a plus.
